In honour of Canada’s 150th anniversary, National Forest Week and National Tree Day (September 27), the City invites residents to learn more about Canada’s iconic trees and flowers, which are among our greatest natural resources, and have helped to shape this land’s history and cultures.

This free event features speaker Ken Farr with the Canadian Forest Service, “The Flowers of Canada” art exhibit by Mary Margaret Land and a display expo with many local nature and environment organizations.
