I would like to inform you that Hydro One has completed the draft Environmental Study Report (ESR) for the Overbrook to Riverview Transmission Line Upgrade project.
The project’s purpose is to ensure an adequate and reliable supply of power to meet the growing electricity needs of central Ottawa. The proposed project consists of upgrading the existing 115 kilovolt transmission line between Overbrook Transformer Station on Coventry Road and Balena Park in the Riverview neighbourhood.
The draft ESR will be available for a 30-day public review and comment period from January 12, 2017 to February 10, 2017. The draft ESR can be viewed on Hydro One’s website.
