Community Safety and Resource Night
As we move into Spring –the season of renewal, I would like to take the time to meet with you to hear about the areas in our community that need more attention. I hope that in bringing the community together to gather input, raise awareness, and increase engagement, we build a stronger and healthier community.
I will be hosting a Community Safety and Resource Night that will feature a mix of community safety and resource professionals specializing in safety, social services, housing, youth affairs and more. Presenters will include Ottawa Police and Ottawa By-law Services.
The Community Safety and Resource Night will be a platform for residents to discuss current challenges in the community, how they are managed, what approaches residents would like to see enhanced or changed, how they can get involved, and what resources are available to them. This multi-faceted approach will provide the foundation for a holistic plan with collaboration from different sectors, identifying and implementing a variety of strategies.
