The City of Ottawa is launching Ottawa Fit 150 with a special two-for-one offer available to anyone who visits select recreation facilities on National Fitness Day, Saturday, June 3.

Twenty-three facilities will host open houses on June 3 during their regular hours of operation where visitors can receive:

  • 2-for-1 passes for fitness classes, weight rooms or pool access
  • A tour of the facility, a chance to meet the staff
  • Giveaways and swag
  • Information about membership features and opportunities

Throughout the remainder of 2017, select recreation facilities will host special events – 150 in total – to encourage physical activity among Ottawa residents and celebrate Canada’s milestone birthday at the same time. Visit ottawa.ca to learn more about events and recreation facilities near you.

On National Health and Fitness Day, everyone is encouraged to be active for at least one hour. Getting active can be fun and simple with activities like walking, gardening or riding a bicycle.
